I'm basically looking for some recommendations for some custom remappers in the UK. The closer to the midlands the better!
I have just upgraded my turbo from the VL37 to the VL38 I bought off an Alfa Mito 155. First impressions are good, it's give it some more grunt - but I would doubt it's added more than 10bhp.
Giving the car a map off a 150 T-Jet won't work because I've started with a 120 with a different camshaft, so am I right in thinking I need a more professional custom map?
I will taking the car to the mappers with the following;
Pipercross air filter (makes little to nothing I know
)
Custom Exhaust
VL38 Turbo
Remove the breather recirc pipe (seems a common Abarth 500 mod, not sure if it does much)
With the standard FMIC and camshaft.
I've looked at the FMIC and it looks fairly well placed and sufficient in size for the power output in these cars. Would I see much benefit from a larger cooler?
Any ideas roughly what power output I'm looking at?
