Fiat idea multijet 1.3 (70hp)
I got this car in really good condition with full serv history and 44k on the clock for a knockdown price.
First niggle,
Seems I have a slight misfire and loads of turbo lag.
To drive its as flat as a pancake then turbo comes in one bucket full, also when you move off at times the engine judders like hell (suspected misfire)
second niggle,
The car is a pain in the arse to get into first gear, its as if there isnt quite enough travel in the gear stick to move it far enough left to get the first gear gate, disconnecting the linkage proves that this is not at problem with the gear stick itself.
My Dad runs a garage but is away for the next week so need some ideas of my own to hit him with when he gets back.
Already when I got this car I had to free the gear selector roll pin as you could not move the gear stick left or right,
