Hi guys first post on here but have been a brava owner for approx ten years now and often come here at the first sign of trouble!

I'm after a bit of advice, I picked up to day what I thought was a colour match front bumper (with fogs) for by brava JTD however on collection it is a very different shade of blue (my jtd is Azzuro Sorgente and the new/2nd hand bumper is a deeper blue/purple), it was only £20 so can't complain to much, just want to make it the right colour.

So my questions are;

1.do I diy it?
or
2.is it a Pro job?

if a pro job,
what should I expect to pay?
&
can anyone recommend pro in north oxfordshire area?

I look forward to reading your responses

hi mate if you did it yourself you would have to use rattle cans. The finish would be ok but it ill never look perfect. From a distance it would be ok but it just depends how picky you are.

If you went and bought a quarter of a litre of the paint for your car (approx £15 depending on where you go), and then took your bumper to a bodyshop then you may be able to get it don for a reasonable price.

a bodyshop usually charges between 80-120 for a panel, but if you able to leave it with them for a while and they are able to work on it between jobs they may do it for much less, especially if they don't have to bother getting or mixing the pait themselves.

i would say to have a look on bravas being broken on ebay, and if you cant find a colour match then just get it off to a body shop, at least that way you know its going to look good.
