Hi.
I’m new on here, thanks for having me.
Have a question about my 500.
It’s 2013 lounge with 16000 miles from new. The clutch pedal has developed a squeak. Gears are still easy to select but every time the pedal goes up or down it squeaks. Any ideas?
Thanks.

Hi are you sure its the pedal?- and not the slave cylinder pushrod in the engine compartment under the battery?.
If it IS the pedal then a squirt of wd 40 might solve it- but there have been a number of instances of the bulkhead/ pedal box welds splitting which causes the pedal box to collapse WELL worth getting under there with a torch and checking alls well whilst operating the pedal!.

If its the slave cylinder its fairly easy to change out ( there is a you tube video )you can by a new one online!

Doh, just reread your reply, now I know it’s located under the battery (will read answer properly in the future)

If it’s coming from slave then remove it, clean the grease and repack with red rubber or better marine grease which is rubber safe, put it back and enjoy

P.s don’t remove the hydraulic lines, not needed
