Hi does anybody know a good place to get a clutch replacement for a 500 with an automatic transmission? Does the flywheel need replacing if the clutch is changed on one of these cars it’s a 0.9twinair

The auto box was slipping in to neutral and warning lamp coming on, so we had it checked by a fiat specialist who said the clutch is on it way out also the actuator is showing a fault, quoted £3500 to do the work

I’m thinking maybe we can get the clutch done and have the actuator fixed rather than changed for a new one

Was hoping to find a specialist who can do the work and not change the astronomical labour prices

Having a wornout Clutch is more likely to be a symptom of poor operation by 'the robot'

Obviously with a 3500 quote.. plenty of scope for a cheaper resolution

Slipping to neutral isnt necessarily a true sign of clutch wear

I would be tempted to get the leaky accumulator dealt with.. then assess the clutch once everything is recalibrated

The Dualogic specialist in Derby area has a good reputation on here.

My dualogics were all ok thankfully :)

The 500's failure thread is depressing 'its broke' reading

Grande Punto and panda sections carry useful info (y)

Ok thanks for your reply
It is a leaking but the clutch is making a bit of a whining noise, they did re calibrate it and it is working fine but the wife won’t drive it, I will look them up and see what they say, thanks
