My windscreen wipers have started clicking when they're on slow speed. The noise sounds as if it's coming from inside the cabin rather than from outside from the wipers. Turn them to continuous and the clicking stops. It's very annoying. Going to take it to the dealer, but was interested to hear if anyone else has experienced this?

I can't say I have, but please let us know how you get on! It might come in useful for someone else in the future.

If this is only happening on intermittent wipe, and the sound is coming from inside the cabin, I'm thinking a particularly noisy relay. A tiny clicking sound is normal, but if it's loud enough to be annoying, then a trip to the dealers under warranty would seem to be called for...

Mine are funny. Sometimes they click sometimes they dont! (of course i havent used them in months due to the traditional greek summer drought). If it is really loud get them checked.

On the weather side it is funny though, in Greece i am begging for rain and in England it is the opposite! I guess no one is ever happy and it is very hard to find the perfect balance. I think one day of full sunshine followed by one full day of rain would be the best balance!

Thanks for the replies. I'm taking it in next Saturday to get them to have a look at it.

I'm usually in the car on my own and I do normally listen to very loud music, so it has been pointed out to me that maybe they've always done it and I've just not noticed...but I'm pretty sure I would have noticed it before now. I'll let you know how I get on.
