Technical Clicking when turning steering wheel

Hi when I turn the steering wheel either way there is a clicking noise.

I've tried listening and it sounds like it's some part of the centre console trim.

Can anyone help? What could it be?

mine did this when i replaced my steering wheel , turned out i had managed to damage the air bag squib .

So im guessing it could be that .

Clicking or a cluniking?

It's more of a clicking. The only thing I did it that area is remove the centre console to replace the light on the dial.

Mine does the same, I am pretty sure it is the clockspring... I'm looking to replace it. If I manage to do it it I will post a guide but there is a guide in. Haynes manual
