Technical clicking clutch

When clutch is depressed just before it reaches bottom, there is resistance and then clicking noise. Can some kind person tell me what the problem is please?

Clutch release bearings or the clutch arm bush needs replacing.

Had this same problem last week.

Decided to drive it a coup[le of times before changing the clutch this week. Didn't last that long.

As the previous reply said, mine was the clutch release bearing. Came to pieces and wrecked the fingers on the clutch plate.

May not be the same problem, but sounds the same. Pressed the clutch down and towards the end of its travel, a resistance and then a click after which it continued to move and clutch worked ok.

Changed the whole clutch myself, £88.
