wots the best way to clean exhaust tips, i have a sportex backbox with a chrome tip

I use Autoglym Metal Polish on mine, but then mine isn't a chrome tipped exhaust, just a standard attachment to the factory backbox.

You need something to clean, and another product to protect the chrome.
WD-40 or similar will clean, but protection is minimal.
Good old plain car wax will protect the chrome...!!
No product will do both equally.

when i got mine i gone think it was eever cleaned, as said previously, wd40 and wet&dry then autoglym to get final finish

So what Autosol product do you recommend...??

During winter, when there's salt on the roads, I put a thick layer of (any) grease on the chrome end of my Ansa exhaust.
It will attract dirt for sure, but the chrome will stay in good condition.
In spring I will wipe the grease of with some WD-40, and polish the tip with car wax.
