As usual I am applying for a stand for the Castle Combe event on 29th June 2013.

We have had a number of Panda's there for the last few years. Tickets very limited so let me know asap if you want to go on the list.

All those people who manage to get links to say "here" or "linky" - how do you do that, as it looks much neater???!!!! :bang:

Easy, write your message like this:

Here is a {url=https://www.fiatforum.com/events/323137-castle-combe-classic-retro-action-day.html}linky to CC Retro{/url} - hope you all enjoy!

Use [ ] instead of { } (I had to do that to stop the link parsing. You'll then end up with:

Here is a linky to CC Retro - hope you all enjoy!

The jist is {url=http://website you want to link to}words you want to be the link{/url}.

To link text to a website I usually write out my post like normally, just write what you want for the link text
e.g. Here.
Highlight the text you want to link, click on the 'Insert Link' button above the text box with the text highlighted, paste your website into the box it brings up and

BAM

insert linl.png

I preferred Didge's version (as it took minimal effort) but both work, so thanks both. I could do the links but there was no obvious way of making it neat. I guess there's an instruction somewhere, but I'm lazy and a bit of a Luddite, so I just get annoyed with this stuff!!! ;)
