2017 500X 1.4 Multiair TCT auto.
Starting to get increasingly frequent "Check transmission" messages and the code stored is P0850-00 ("P/N position"). Which I take as a sensor detecting Park or Neutral, to allow engine starting presumably.
No real issues in practice up until now when attempting to restart after a stop at a petrol station, gearlever not able to be moved from Park for a period whilst PRND symbols flashing.
Doesn't seem to be much on the web about this kind of fault but thought I would see if this sparked anything....
