Change Blue&me language to English

OK are you following the correct process......switch ignition OFF...place flashdrive in cars USB......then switch ignition ON but dont start engine.....not sure you get any sound I just use to see updating and the language was done in less than 10 seconds
I had some free time, I stood by the car. first I updated the ... software, then the language file. so he already allowed it.
I'm writing it in case it helps someone else.
Thanks.

How did you update your cars software and where did you get the files from....the language change in the blueme does not need later software and can be done at any software level usually.....would help if you explain some more detail

first I updated the car's software, from here:
After that the language of the software change into Itlaian, but the car each remained German. After that I updated this: https://www.fiatforum.com/downloads/blue-me-english-language-pack.442/
The resuld was English menu, and english speach.

I wrote previously that for some reason the auto did not allow the language compression. as if it had been blocked centrally. I tried it.
The language files remained the same as what I did before.

When the language files were downloaded from the blueme site there were actually 5 files in the group......one was a PDF instruction sheet not required for the car but explained what to do......you need to place ALL of the rest of the 4 files on the USB as a group but not in a folder and the flash drive USB MUST be formatted to FAT32.....FAT or NTFS will not work.....

Place the U|SB in the car then switch on ignition....should only take a few seconds to install and change over....
Hi guys, I am new here.
I also have a problem with installing the english languange with my Punto Evo (2011).
I formatted the usb to FAT.32
I put the 4 files on it (not in the folder, just files), nothing else was on the usb
I started the car, left it running for 10secs
Inserted the usb aaaaaand it shows "usb error: 10", and some notification in Dutch language is being spoken, i don't understand a word.

Any help??

p.s. tried with a different usb - didn't work!!!!
p.p.s. also tried inserting the usb BEFORE switching on, same error presents.
