CD Player live feed wire

A few weeks ago i swapped over the red and yellow wire behing ,my cd player, in order to keep a live feed to it when the engine is off, but i blown the interior light instead for some reason when i done it.

any 1 have a pic of the actual wires to b swapped ? its getting a pain in the arse having to tune the radio in more that once per day.

It IS a Sony HU yeah?

Its not because you swapped it that it blew, its because its short circuiting. no metal connectors should be exposed. the bullets should have a plastic sheathing round them no?

Yeah Buzz, it is a Sony HU.

the metal bits do have clear tubing on them, so god knows hows its shorting.
