Hi Guys,

I have a problem with my blaupoint cd changer (stilo 02 dynamic). The standard one in the glove box. I have read the other post but I can't quite find an answer.

I have had no problems with the cd changer till now! Over the weekend my cd got to disk five which it hasn't done for a while but it froze it won't eject the disks in the cd changer had to fish them out with a wire. Now the problem is that the unit has frozen and won't accept a new cd or change from cd 5.

I use my car for work and don't think I can take to long with no cd player. Has anyone got any suggestions?

I only use originals in there so it doesn't have any copies it did strach a few of my cd's to start off with before this happened.

Cheers

Rach

Do all the lights on the changer (on buttons 1-5) flash from red to green continuously?
If so the unit may need resetting.

Simply remove cd changer from glove box slot and disconnect blue connector.
Leave for 1hr then reconnect.
as the CD changer is reconnected you will hear it align itself.
Then try it and see if that works.

if this does not work then the changer will need to be sent to Blaupunkt for to be realigned and cleaned - cost £90.00.
if thats the case i would get rid of it (as I did with mine) and relace with after market CD player.

There have bben manu posts about Blaupunkt IDC-A09 changer going wrong so they can't be very good.

Let us know how you get on.

Hi Rach.

Had the same problem with my autochanger last year. Thing totally locked up and refused to play anything. Then I tried to change between discs it was trying but making strange noises.
Took it out and took the lid off.
The whole cd tray mechanism had moved slightly out of alignment.
What I did was to plug the autochanger back into the system with the lid off so I could access the inside. Watched what was happening when I put a disc in slot 1 and using a small screwdriver (jewellers) helped the mechanism to 'steer' in the right direction. Had to do it a few times in different slots but eventually the whole thing returned to its original position and started working!
Put it together again and haven't had any problems since!
So, save yer money and have a go, just don't force the tray too hard or you might knacker it completely!

I have the same problem and have tried all the suggestions I could find in this forum and others. When I switch on my radio, the HU unit does not recognise the CD. All I can get when pressing the SRC button is "No Tape", and although I press again, there is no CD option coming up. The CD itself lights up and the 5 number buttons are flashing. I can insert discs in 1,2 & 3 but not 4 & 5. Also they don't eject !Any ideas ???
