Can anyone please help me, I need a person who can change my fiat 500 radio unit for an update with CarPlay, I am willing to pay. Or can anyone give me some advice, my unit has uconect which we know it doesn’t work anymore, so I want to swap it any advice will be a help please.

Hi! I have a 2011 500 that had blue & me that I swapped out for a pioneer 7” touch screen with car play
I know with your 500 being a newer model a few bits will be different to mine … wiring ect but all the bits should be available for a swap .. wiring looms ect
Does your car have a usb port in the central console? I presume you have steering wheel buttons?
It’s not a terribly hard swap but it can be a bit of an expense…. I suppose it depends on what you want and how much you’re willing to spend?

Replacing the radio with a aftermarket one is by far the best option, forget any Fiat offering, but yes can cost a bit, don't be tempted to buy a cheap android type from say Ebay, stick with the market leaders like Pioneer, Alpine, Kenwood etc
