I'm thinking of getting a car vac for Christmas and they all seem to run on a 12 v cig lighter. Will this work in the port next to the gearstick it states 1080w so should do but don't won't to chance it. Car is a GP mjet 1.9

Thanks for any info

should do but im not keen on them coz they drain the battery quite badly, i know people who have used them and hand to jump the car afterwards

They are usually next to useless (in all honesty)

the GP has a 20A fuse so will run one no problem

you'd be best getting a mains one (providing you can run an extension lead to the car)

I got one of these (although branded by LIDL) IIRC i paid about £40

not a bad machine for the price although the hoover bags are about £10 for 5 (but if your careful you can reuse them)

that lidl vac looks like a good buy(y)....as said a car vac is next to useless, they just don't suck, well they do:D in a bad way....sorry about the pun....ive been supplied with vacs from my daughter for years, she seems to buy one when she thinks its time for a change & i get the one she no longer wants:D

i have a cig lighter vac which i use to get in the nooks and crannies,

:yeahthat:

i got a wet' n dry vac this xmas, very powerful and saves pulling out the great big vacuum cleaner every time the is at least one bit...:D

Be careful though of your battery, it will easily drain it up. Make sure to check other available alternatives.
