ok thank youNice pictures, but of the two you've shown, probably the dedicated Halfords paint. Calipers can get quite hot so I am not sure that regular metal paint would be suitable.
yh i guess im on about thatHigh temperature paint?
o ok thanks mateI used a spray on hammerite, smooth red they call it.
In hines sight I would have used proper caliper paint in a tin and really sanded down everything and removed it properly first.
will do mate, hopes do it this weekendWould you mind letting us know how this goes with the blue paint as im thinking of doing it thanks![]()
ok kwl mate thanks, you got a photohey mate if i were u i would use the hammerite it is a stunning colour i used it the other day on mine, wire brushed all the caliper and then applied two coats of the paint.
i work in halfrauds (FTW!!) and a customer came in the other day and said that his caliper paint the dedicated one had flaked off

Can you use normal hammerite or do you need a heat one?![]()
Here's what yellow hamerite looks like. Bearing in mind I didn't take the calipers off or prep them in anyway other than give them quick brush over.I used spray on smooth hamerite, didn't even take them off either, not the best job in the world but looks 100% better than standard.
that looks sexyHere's what yellow hamerite looks like. Bearing in mind I didn't take the calipers off or prep them in anyway other than give them quick brush over.
