Calcium Batteries charging

Hi dave, yes no problems charging calcium batteries with any charger, I have one of those Lidl chargers & it's very good.(y)

Hi dave, it depends on the rate of charge the older ones that don't have smart facility will damage but the new chargers as the LIDL charger, will be safe. The only differance in calcium batteries is the final fully charge rate is slightly higher by 0.2volts. (y)

My Lidl only ever seems to have a few of these would recomend getting there early on Thurs, or last thing Weds night if your lucky as always popular.(y)

i got the lidl one, it says suitable for all types of car and motor bike batteries on the box.

you right they run out of them quick, i went to one in east ham got there after i dropped mrs dave off to work at 9.30am and there was 3 left i picked one up and another bloke picked one up, so just 1 left after that.

think of it this way... the cars alternator charges the battery and that has no smart about them what so ever.

once the battery voltage reaches the same voltage as the power supply it will naturally stop charging.

the only way to to kill the battery is by boiling it to death (leaving one of them chargers with the boost switch on all night)

just get any old slow/trickle charger.

lidl one will do fine
