I have a 99 Bravo that I can't get to run and I think it has something to do with the immobiliser. Can anyone tell me how to disable it or bypass it. If not I think I am going to junk the car.

can you tell us more?
engine, service history? have you just bought it as a non-runner?

does it turn over?

my very first guess is that its the fuel cut-off switch, based on next to no info ;)

sorry about that, here is some more info. I put a newer engine that I bought from engines UK, it has approximately 39,000 miles on it I don't know of service history on that engine. The engine does turn over but i'm not getting any spark. My mechanic told me it was the ECU, however I had the ECU tested and that company (Autotek) told me it was fine, but that the problem could be with the immobiliser. When I pulled the plugs after trying to start it I did notice that they were wet and they smelled of fuel. I'm getting frustrated with this car.

could be all sorts of things.
have you checked all the sensors are plugged in after the refit?

Yeah and everything seems to be hooked up correctly. I seriously think i'll have a breaker come and get it.
