Technical Buying van flashing milage

Hi im buying a van which when i looked at it had flashing milage and a couple of other little things , they have rang to say the van is ready but they could not sort the flashing milage , ive had a quick look and it seems it need a proxy alignment , i rang my local dealer and they said it could have a fault £200 to diagnose and £200 to do a proxy alignment . This seems to be a common fault with what i have seen with a quick look . But are they fine to drive with the flashing milage or is it not worth buying with this issue . Many thanks

Hello,

Multiecuscan license is 50 EUR. You need get the cables too, but you will surely get both (cables+license) cheaper than the 200 GBP the st/dealer wants you to pay to diagnose the error. It's diagnose, not repair...

Could be a number of things, if you look at the multiecuscan register, you might have a member close by who can help, if the van drives fine, then likely to be fine to drive it.
