Thanks for the advice. I've got H&R springs and, as it looks like they only come in sets of four, not much change from £200. There's probably a good case for changing all four at the same time I suppose..

Hiya! There's a few different sets on ebay but found this thats reasonable, but you would need to change in pairs.

I had a H&R set on one of my old Barchetta Turbo which rode quite low, was yours riding low too

The set i have is spare and complete Front/ Rear and in great condition, if your stuck would be willing to let them go for less, No point in them gathering more dust.. I,ll post a pic tommorow of them should you be interested.

Hey, thanks again KC! The car rides quite low, yeah.. probably why I've got a busted spring with all the potholes in Scotland! I think shipping costs from Cyprus to Scotland would be a bit expensive, but thanks.

I saw the ebay link you mentioned. Would they be suitable to replace the front pair of springs, keeping the Bilstein B6 shocks? It says they are standard not lowering..

Bilstien B6's are direct replacement for the standard shocks but better and so are designed for standard spring heights but can be coupled with springs as 35mm max lower , Its the B8 shocks that have a shorter damper and can run 40-50mm lower springs.

So yes you will be fine with standard springs but your ride height would raise and if after the H&R springs may feel a little softer.

If you can afford to get the Eibach pro 30mm lower springs, they are fantastic and you will get super handling and performance without effecting your ride and feel..

They sell other sets too but should you decide to go for any other, just make sure they have a progressive spring rate, this will give you a comfortable ride when driving smoothly and then stiffen as you speed up and corner at speeds giving you best performance..

Hope this helps!!

Great help thanks! I reckon I'll give the Eibach Pro springs a shot this time instead of H&R, and tell myself Christmas came early. No big difference in price and both seem to get good reviews.

Used to live in North Cyprus where the potholes were worse than Scotland - probably better on the other side, eh
