The brake pipes are standard and can be made up for you by any (good)garage. Most will replace the corroded steel ones with copper. Costs about £20 a line.
www.automec.co.uk supply a complete set to fit the Panda for £35 + VAT
"All brake pipe sets are made from either thickwalled seamless copper or copper nickel alloy. Brass fittings are used as standard. They are vitually corrosion proof, strong and malleable, allowing them to be readily formed by hand, although this can usually be done more neatly using one of our pipe benders."
I fitted a set to my old Panda a few years back now and they were great!
It's a pleasure, PandaBoy! They were incredibly easy to fit. When I fitted them I bought brand new rear cylinders as they were cheap enough Brass fittings are amazingly easy to maintain with a bit of vaseline on the threads !
If you nip to "Spring Lane Motor Spares" just outside Lambley, Nottingham then you might just find a white Panda with copper brake pipes and a electronic distributor, but as I scrapped it 2 months ago there's probably not much of it left. Just look for G781TUT
I've noticed that Pandas on the road are pretty rare these days ... I certainly haven't seen yours unfortunately. I'm still thinking of buying RocketMan's special Panda ...
