General Body repair question

Does anyone know if the left side front fender(the panel that forms the wheel arch) can be removed and if so how. I still have it damaged and want to try and fix it but find it akward to fit a hammer in the wheel arch[}]. Thanx for any help

On a Y10 this panel is bolted on - removing the wheel arch liner gives access to the bolts. On a Panda though, according to Haynes, it is pop riveted on.

Would swap for X19, Montecarlo Spider or GT.i.e in average/poor condition! Scottish based would be nice.

Difficult job my friend as it is spot welded all over the show.
Your best bet would be to drill a hole in the centre of the dent and loop a wire through it and a rod inside the wing (fender), pull the dent(s) out until they are easy to fill. Then fill with elastic filler.

it does sound like a pain to do, but since the dent is basically the whole panel it would be easier to replace then cram on 1 inch of filler[xx(].

O.K. I get the picture! That badly bent eh ?
I don't know what the situation in your country is.....but here, I could buy a new wing for £40, grind off the old one and spot weld it on for £10.
Please don't even contemplate 'pop-rivets' as a method of fixing your wings.Thier use would weaken the structure of your car AND INVALIDATE YOUR INSURANCE>! Please don't do it.

it´s actually barely noteciable once i painted but i know its bent, probably just use fiberglass to fill it since it´s hard to replace( i had the parts)

Glad you've got it sorted.
There is a real difference twixt 'standard' and '4x4' Panda owners. An horrendous great dent on your car probably wouldn't even show up on mine...funny auld world.

I just want it to look nice not that it´s a horrendous dent. It was actually the left side all smashed in (except the door), i fixed the back only the front i didn´t know what to do. It was bad enough the door wouldn´t open
