I believe mine was 207 mm long, I no longer have the car to check

Width has to be 175 mm

Bosch catalogue

Only thing that matters is CCA anything over 300 should be good for 1.1 or 1.2 without start stop

width or depth?

This is too wide then?
This is the 063

This is the 012

So same width and length, just the 063 is shorter?

Assuming the 012 is correct fit...

This is the 202

063 = 175 x 207 x 175h
012 = 175 x 207 x 190h
202 = 175 x 175 x 190h

Both of our Pandas have a Yuasa YBX5012/HSB012) bought from Tanya batteries. It's arguably over spec for the 1.2 but has never given a moment's trouble and our power steering always get a full lock workout when exiting our gateway into the narrow lane where we live.

£68 inc delivery at

Halfords have the same battery for just under £97 though their search list shows a higher price.

I fitted a cheap battery (though it was not cheap money from Halfords) when original on my 100HP failed. It lasted 2 years and let me down again.
I figured the extra £30 for the Yuasa was cheap insurance against the same thing happening again.

I just doesn't work like that

It was still under warranty Halfords give a minimum of 3 years on there battery'

Here's a Yuasa from a piccanto I been given, it's failed under warranty but the car now with a different owner

My battery is underneath, is over 5 years old, I just swap it from car to car, it's on trickle charge as the car not being used for a couple of weeks

A good cheap battery should last 10 years or more, if kept fully charged
