Hi,

is ASR working in first gear ? I think I tried in many occasions, but I think I never saw ESP light blink in first gear. I only noticed it in second gear or higher.. Maybe I've never been in that situation, but wheels do slip a little in first gear with hard acceleration.

Greetings

I find its not good enough in irst gear i get too much wheel spin in 1st.....

The anti spin i have on my Seat Leon is not focused mainly on stopping the wheels to spin from hard acceleration but to stop the 2 wheels from revolving on different speeds. At least i think so. I do not know about the Bravo. Not yet at least... :p

PS. Of course on my car it is TCS and not ASR and although similar it probably has another function.

ASR in first does work, however it is more lenient. I have managed to provoke it, but as buck-egit said the wheels do spin in first, however this has been the case with all of my cars that have had ASR/TC/TCS whatever the different manufacturers call them.

i have a bravo sport tjet 150 and today i was testin wheelspinning with 1st gear in the sport programm.. well poor ASR, was trying hard to stop spinning(light was blinking crazy) but too much power.. allthough with the 2nd gear does good work..

Try it in snow. It's like someone has stolen the turbo. Surreal pushing the pedal to the floor in 2nd and the car just gently accelerates.

Then it hits an patch of grip and you spill your coffee. :(

PMSL ........:slayer: i know what you mean I had that a few weeks ago when we had a wee sprinkle of snow up the mountain i live on
