Even a completely broken down rust bucket? lol
I REALLY want to gein experience on panda's before I get a serious one =\
Even if that means being a partner to someone who has one, I'll help out with any restoration or anything really, As long as it's not TOO far lol
I'm a training mechanic at college... But the stuff they're teaching me is... well, Lets just say insufficient... lol. while everyone is out there, Learning how to remove an refit a radiator, I'm taking apart a SAAB 9000 2.0 turbo engine, and replacing the headgasket, The only help I needed, Was for someone to hold the chain, and someone to help me move the head.

I just want to learn the panda inside and out ^.^ A certain guy inspired me a while ago with panda's, so I'm pretty much set on having one, Restoring it to showroom condition, and driving it for MANY years to come, If the government dont crack too hard on Co2 emmisions that is =P

So how about it? Anyone got a spare? or anyone need an assistant? I'll pay for your time =)

I'd LOVE to, But I have no experience with painting =\ So I'd be best not messing, I wouldnt want to ruin it... I dont mind helping if someone could teach me, But I wouldnt trust myself doing the paintwork on my own as I dont have a CLUE on respray techniques, Sorry =(

I'd like it, But the insurance would be sky high.. Seriously, i got an insurance quote for the 750cc and THAT came out at 900 at cheapest, Now imagine adding engine mods to the insurance quote, And alloys

hi Alex
ok how serious are you ?
what exactly do you want to learn ?
.....you may wish to add welding to your list :)
i have a couple of 'standing' pandas at the moment , one in need of welding -but dont touch is engine bay as he runs like a trooper .another (precious to me) pink ...thats "a bit rough" all round especially under the bonnet and then it seems an old panda of mine is coming home after a couple of years away helpling out friens ,he also will be needing a good service and sort out i imagine .
still interested ? all cars at the moment near peterborough but i could get them to you if you can hold out a few weeks.
pm me
gina X:)

Easy:

1. Remove alloys - fit steelies.

2. Remove engine (you did say you wanted experience ;)) - fit 999cc FIRE.

Problem solved :)

Or take on one of Posh's Pandas. You got a nice selection of offers here!

Alex. There are six panda's on ebay all taxed and mot'd. Just put in ''fiat panda''.All from a few pounds up to one with a reserve at £200.00 which finishes in six hours. Reading this thread i thought they had suddenly become a rare item, but it seems this is not the case.
Before you bid why not ask the seller if he can arrange delivery and how much it will cost. A lot of the sellers are connected to the trade in some small way.
When i bought one for spares a couple of years ago this is what i did and it worked out fine. All the best======
PS You might not be lucky at first but keep trying.

I have hardly ANY money, Right now, I'm trying to get enough money for my alternator on my vectra so that I can sell it... Noone seems to want it as spares or repairs.

Alex don't mean to sound abrubt, but you have rebutted virtually every post. No one is going to give you a panda for free, well certainly not on this site as we are almost all enthusiasts....

If you are struggling to get an alternator for a vectra (£10 scrappy) your not really in the position to recondition a panda.

I'm not after a panda for free, I just need to get rid of this vectra first, And it's really bothering me, It's taking up a lot of space on the driveway, And Got the car before doing my homework, It's the one thing I DO regret.

Alex, Have you heard of ''ad-mag''. You can put a free ad in under ''swaps''. Ie swap your car for a panda or whatever. Go to www.admag.co.uk
By the way, have you got a front garden or anywhere to work. If at side of road is only place you are up against it.
Cheers and good luck
