Hi all, I am Stuart and am not actually the Fiat owner but the husband

At the beginning of the month she got (fell in love with) a 2008 Panda 1.2 (silver) after her Kia Picanto fell to rust issues.

I am not new to car forums but am new to Fiats so I will probably be picking some brains in the future so thanks in advance

Happily the Panda is mostly galvanised so hopefully not too much rust, but keep an eye on:
Rear axle spring pans
Rear sills
Engine oil sump pan
Coolant pipe behind exhaust manifold
Mud trap behind front springs

And keep the duckbill scuttle drains below the windscreen clear, they block easily

Thanks for that info. We were really impressed with it's MOT history which led us to buy the old thing. We just need to replace the clocks as the menu button is broken and the display is just showing the range left and we can't change it

There have been a few dash swaps on here, search function works well if you need any tips.

Replacement needs to be a lower mileage, then adjusted up using software.

Lots of us on here use MultiECUScan, it's a useful tool to have with an older fiat
