Ok, My off-side dipped beam decided to stop working today, so I swap the near-side blub over, still no joy, fine, what to check next? the fuse... follow my trusty owner handbook, page 179, the fuse box is located just under the steering wheel.... removed the trim, nothing, all I find was a plug, am I blind or what? well, it was a bit dark outside, does anyone know where the fuse box for the dipped beam are? it is a right hand drive btw. Thanks~~~

Thank you for the help guys..........:(
Anyway, Phone up one of the fiat dealer today (I didnt bought the car from them.) The lady was very helpful to find out the fuse box is behind the nearside Glove box for me (under the steering wheel on the left hand drive version as shown on the owner handbook!!! Cant believe Fiat wont made a right hand drive version handbook!!!!)
Anyway, check, swap and changed the fuse, off side dipped beam still not working, check, swap and change the bulb, still the same!!! If I take it to the dealer, would it be a warrenty job?!

Take it to the dealer, don't mess about with anything.

I've got an 07 Bravo and last week I found out my power socket wasn't working, just phoned up, got it booked in. Turned out it was a fuse but they sorted it in about 10mins.

Use the warrenty thats what it's there for, no need to dick about with anything yourself!

Respond!!! weheeeeeeeeee~~~:p
Is my 08 bravo.

You may have got a quicker response if you'd said what car you were talking about in your original post. The problem was probably aggravated on this occasion because your username infers a Stilo whereas you posted in the Bravo section.

I can never understand why some people asking for help on the forum don't bother to state the car details they're asking for help on. I've often trawled through people's previous posts just to try to find this basic information so I can respond to a query.

In view of the sarcastic comments above, I won't be doing that again.

Rant over..... Dave.

Yup, Checked the fuse and bulb, me done, will leave it to the dealer~~~(y)

hi stilo newbie,as i think someone said use your warranty as just bought car, heard of a new FIAT car before going up in smoke because of a simple wiring/fuse problem before. So get it in ASAP ,and don't leave till fixed.(y)
Hope all goes well.(y)

All cars can go up in smoke - we had a Clio merrily burning away at the end of our street a few months ago.

I did read the thread after you posted it but having not had a look for the fuses yet, and it being rather late and dark when I read it, couldn't really pop outside to have a look.

Dont worry mate, I thought it was funny when I wrote it but someone taken it a bit too serious, well, never mind.
Anyway, driving to work this morning (5:30am), once I got on the motorway, the other dipped beam gone as well, so I have no choice but just used my fog-light (well, I know I can stop, which is my other option.) Call the dealer as soon as they open, book it in and they asked me to pop in during their lunch, they will have a quick look!!! how nice!!! Guess what!? lunch time come and everything works as normal :bang: the only thing they can suggest it the switch on the steering wheel, but as it is all working now, they rather not take it apart and ask me to pop in if it happen again, well, so fingercross!!! ;)
