Technical Alternator

Hi, I am looking for a new alternator and as it was a pain to get off I need the right one. I found one with 1 digit out at the end of the part number. Its the only one I can find any help

Interesting. What year is your car and does it have aircon? I ask because that's a 100A alternator and it looks like only aircon cars needed more amps so maybe it isn't the original?

Hi Chris, it's a 98 jap import with air con and it's a magneti marelli.

If it has start stop it might need a stronger alternator too as the battery's have more amps and run at higher voltage

That's interesting so it's this line on ePer (which ran from 15/11/95 to 15/10/99) I'd missed that what is presumably the MM part number in the description

Searching for the Fiat part number got me to
