I know i know its sorta of a bad boy topic but you gotta admit, those standard tyres are just dangerous in the wet! thus my justification for wanting alloys.

Does anyone know where i can get some nice cheap ones (anyone willing to sell me some?) I'm sick of bidding for alloys on ebay only to be outbidded literally 1 minute before bidding is over.

I know 14" will fit at a push.?. Also is it safe to assume any 4 stud alloys will fit?

nooooo not any 4 stud alloys will fit.its all about offsets and pcd.fit the wrong alloys and find out how it handles in the wet[:0] not really up on the panda im afraid but one of the panda guys will soon point you in the right direction

thanks for the info custard boy, although i have already fitted my friends punto 4 stud alloys to my panda with no problems and been on a test drive.. this is how i know they fit ;p I was just wondering how standard this fitting is.

Hi there,

Alloy Wheels must be for Fiat/Lamcia/Alfa with a PCD of 98MM, 4 stud.

Most wheels have a PCD of 100MM.

14" Wheels are generally fine with lower profile tyres. Fiat Punto, X19, Lancia Y10, Lancia Dedra alloys will all fit.

Search this forum for old posts that will provide more info with regards to tested combinations.

Regards,

Martin

Fix It Again Tony!

ok, i did some homework and found out what it means.. but i read you can fit pcd of 100mm with wobbly nuts? what are they? also does that 2mm really make it so hard??? i'm the one who fitted suzuki bull bars remember? ;p i'm sure theres a bodge!

PCD = pitch circle diameter ie. the diameter of the centre line of the wheel studs (or bolts). Fiat use 98mm and any wheels fitted must be 98mm PCD. Trying to fit 100mm wheels would be a bad thing because as you tighten the nuts (or bolts) they would be pulled sideways which will damage the thread, the nut (or bolt head) would not sit square against the wheel and the nut could come undone or the stud shear off, the wheel would fall off........you die!
