:)Hi there!
Here is a suggestion I was given to help further with my cars lil problem!! :-
'What I suggest you do is visit the Classic Panda section and ask the members there if there are any additional vacuum pipes connected to both carburettor and transmission. Though the Panda Selecta uses a different engine the Selecta transmission is pretty much the same. Unfortunately the carburettors are different between the Panda and Uno.'
I would appreciate anyones help? Thank you kindly, elise x

HI elise,
Got a 93 panda selecta 1108cc with fuel injection [no carb'] and on mine there is no vacuum pipe to the transmission. There is a vacuum pipe from the inlet manifold to the brake servo.
Hope you get info from some one who has a carb' model, although i would assume the answer will be the same.
All the best, gra========

Fraid not.

The Uno Selecta uses a different box to the Panda, it has a larger " figure of eight " bellhousing though it is still the Van-Doorn belt system. It uses a torque converter.

This is very similar to the auto box used by Ford on the Fiesta's.
Rgds.
