Hello - We have a Ducato based Adria Twin campervan first registered in June 2009. We bought it in November 2009 with just under 1,000 miles, now over 40,000.

We have travelled from Morocco to Poland, around Europe and up to the far north of Scotland. Around 400 nights so far. Touch wood no mechanical problems with the van apart from a leaking water hose caused by rubbing on a metal bracket. Only major expense has been a respray of the nearside rear side panel due to rust behind the sliding door guide. Paintwork is the only problem with the top coat flaking off in places especially on the roof - I would never use a power washer to clean this van!

For the roof driving through rain at 100 km/h does not differ much from a power washer!
The water based paint does not adhere well to the yellow brown primer layer that protects the steel. My van looked so bad two years ago I decided to paint the roof with a flexible chlorinated rubber paint, used for inflatables and truck tarpaulins. I am very happy with the results.

Thats exactly what my dad put on his 307d roof in the 1990s, roof is still perfect.
