I've got a Punto Active Sport 16v 54 plate and the clutch is a lot lower to the floor than I'm used to. It means I stall when taking off occasionally and on hill starts I either stall or take ages to even pull off as I've got to rev and concentrate on the clutch.
Is there any way to bring the bite point just a couple of inches higher as its a bit of a pain, especially considering I'm going to use it for my practical test soon!
Thanks

yes its quite easy to change the biting point, you put a clutch in
do NOT buy a chocolate one off the internet though ,us guys are sick of seeing customers having these fitted and they last a few months at best
buy an luk from your factor
fit once fit right

I dunno if you're taking the **** or not...I don't wanna replace anything but I read you could adjust the clutch cable but as I think mines a hydraulic can they still be adjusted?

Every clutch will have a slightly difference in tollerance from where the biting point is

Since the whole system is hydraulic, you'll never feel the biting point getting higher and higher either - you'll notice the slip before the piston jumps out due to wear

Like when you have a new clutch - its often horrible to drive, till you change in your head that its moved

Personally i'd persivere with it and learn how the clutch responds
