Hi everyone,
I am the proud owner of a 2009 Lancia Delta (Series 3) with the wonderful 1.4 T-Jet engine. Though the car has proven to be very reliable and an excellent travel companion, it has developed a slight malfunction with the air conditioning system, I'll explain in detail: when I press the a/c button (snowflacke symobl) it sometimes turns the a/c on as it should, but then there are othertimes when it starts blinking without the a/c turning on (in this case the temperature indicator flashes) or the little light on the button doesn't turn on at all. I noticed that this occures mainly when the engine is warm. When I start it up in the morning and turn the a/c on it stays on, but when I park the car and come back to it with a warm engine it either flashes or doesn't turn on at all. Can someone please explain if its something electronic or if the system needs a gas refill. Hopefully it's not anything too complicated. From my knowledge it should be the same system as in the Fiat Bravo which was made alongside the Delta.
Best regards
