Have you got 2 keys? if so, both are giving same symptom?
Are you sure that's the immo? Is the dash light on all the time?
If it's really the immobilizer, I'd say you need to reprogram the key. So, FIAT dealership unless you have the code and MultiEcuScan. I was given free of charge the immo code at a dealership in the EU upon proof of ownership.
Perhaps a locksmith would also be able to help. But as far as I know, they are able to copy the data from one to another and not sure if they can program a new one...
