Technical 2003 Ducato Side Repeat Indicators

Hi All,

Have recently bought a Ducato based Motorhome which has the 2.0L TD engine. Drives really well and so far very pleased with it.

Unfortunately, it has more documents than you can fit in a holdall but didn't come with an owners manual.

As it has a Motorhome body it has the extended wide body, wing mounted side repeat indicator stalks. Both of them are loose and I want to tighten them up. However, I can't see how to get to the back of them unless I have to remove the wheelarch liner or similar.

Any ideas anyone?

I could be wrong as I have not had one but on similar ones on a Renault Master I had the lens/lamp holder could be unclipped from the arm and then a screw driver used down the extension.

As for tightening the guard mounted indicator lamps, other than taking the inner guards off maybe you can get "limited" access through the back of the guard from the door side by loosening the two bolts holding the guard on & with the door on the first "stay" will give an additional 1/2" of clearance to the gap already there, maybe enough to get a spanner through the gap???
