I've 'lost' the air conditioning belt tensioner and bracket from my 2.8 244. Where is the best place to buy another used unit please, as Fiat are looking for over £300 .....(gulp!).

Maybe a Peugeot/Citroen or Renault that used same engine?
Is it the spring or the bearing, maybe you can get a bearing on it's own?

Get the part numbers from ePER

then look them up on Ebay..
Or on Google

Its the whole assembly...........bracket and all.....!

Just had a quick look on eBay , wow! the price for a s/h engine is more than I used to pay for a complete vehicle in running order with Mot
