Hi there,
just had a call from the missus saying that the exhaust on the doblo is hanging off at the front end. Does anyone know if these can be bought off the shelf. She's off to Bournmouth to see her mum on Monday and is panicking a bit..
Thanks in advance.(y)

Mrs_G's exhaust front section was recently replaced. It was the section that goes from the turbo to the cat. I wasn't too expensive.

Hi Niall,
The bit thats gone is past the flexible bit at the front, back towards the middle of the car. Its a box thats like a funnel one end and part of the middle section and bolts to the front section.
I am assuming that the Cat is right near the front the other side of the flexible. Choked really because the rest of the exhaust is still silver paint. Just this one point.

As I understand it the cat is the first 'box' on the section after ther flexi bit. Mrs_G's needs the whole lot replacing now (apart from the almost new front pipe).

My local garage gave me the number of a supplier that could do it for less than £200 inc VAT delivered !!!! Its currently out in my garage waiting for me to take it up to the independant guy to fit it for me.

If you need their number let me know.

Interpart in Folkestone Kent quoted what I thought was a fair price for the exhaust parts. Middle section £175+vat, £73+vat for back box. I have seen the front pipe in stainless on the net for about £50.
Fortunately my local garage welded the exhaust back together for £20 today.

Fiat will have to think of a different design fault to catch me out now. LOL

Just managed to find the invoice for Mrs_G's exhaust. I was a little out as far as cost in my previous post .

The exhaust was bought from CES (UK) Ltd. They have a web site www.cesuk.com

I bought the middle (inc cat) and rear sections of the exhaust. Including VAT and next day delivery (£7.90) they charged me £207.72

Hope this is of use to anyoneelse needing an exhaust at a sensible price.

(Other than being a 1 off customer I have no connection to the company).
