1.6 Fuel Tank Capacity - how many litres?

The buyers guide on here says the 1.6 holds 50 litres but my owners manual says it holds 58 litres (7 of which being the reserve).
Mine is a 2001 car - did FIAT make the tank bigger later on? what do you people squeeze in yours?

my 1.6 holds 50 litres, as do most Brava/o's.
The bigger engined models hold 60 litres. Maybe yours is a 60 litre tank.

Only way to be certain is to fill up.

IIRC, the TD's, 1.8 & HGT's had a 60ltr tank...

All the rest had 50ltr.

I hear what your saying peeps but I reckon they must have fitted bigger tanks towards 'the end' . . my users guide says 58 litres and the last time I filled up (shortly after my reserve light came on) I added 50 litres without difficulty.
Doesn't really matter does it LoL but think I will go deep into the reserve next time then see how much I can squeeze in. Anything over say 51 litres would indicate a bigger tank than 50 litres wouldn't it . . .
