Technical wipers sit to high.

if they slowly sit back down - then its worn bushings

if you pop the bonnet and look where the linakges go onto the wiper arms, i bet if you gently push - it'll pop off = its dead and it WILL fall off when you least or most needed it not to

i knew mine was crap, and when i washed my screen it went up - didnt go down and the wipers had a fights and forced a stop.... NOT GOOD

i repaired mine with a nut and bolt job, but the slack is getting worse causing the wipers to bounce

dave will be along in a minute to tell you to try replacing the linkages with the improved ones from Wipex. They come with a lifetime guarantee, y'know...! :D

Seriously, they're well worth the money; and, so far, here in damp, muddy, darkest Warwickshire, have proved extremely reliable (fitted 15 months ago...). (y)

£26.50. See here and here. :)

That second link also shows the clips you can buy; but they seem to fail pretty quickly (especially at this time of year...).

PS: You might want to fit them before that rainy day...! ;)
