I was thinking more along the lines of euro styling, or slight enhancements on the standard design, rather than chaved up, wide arch body kits ect :)
many thanks :)

*Lower you ride 50mm.
*Take off the side door strips.
*Remove the Door B Pillar vinyl.
*Colour code your doorhandles and wingmirrors
*smoked wing indicator

BTW you got 3dr or 5dr???

youll end up with summat like this (mine):

thanks brin, really like your car :) it looks smart but still remains semi-standard looking and not ott. Mine is also the 3dr model :) i had already considered removing the bump strips from the doors (y) is it a messy job?? (was worried what state the adhiesive would be in?).
have you done any work on it under the bonnet??(y) thanks for your reply :)

Don't get lexus because i know you might be thinking it and use autoglym tar remover stuff or petrol to get rid of the crap.

Yh i painted cam cover and mounting red, and i have a k&n induction kit:

btw auto glym tar remover gets rid of the sticky stuff for removing bump strips(y)

And black lexus lights dont look too bad on a black punto i really like them plus iv just tinted mine black aswel:

smmmooooth everything!
:yeahthat:

The car pictured in this thread is a bad example imho, lexus lights are chavvy, the induction kit is placed ontop of the engine block so is taking in hot air, therefore LOWERING performance and painting the rear drums any other colour than black is a bad idea. Shows it has no rear disks so no real power. Thats my opinion anyways.

I think the best way to mod a car is look at as many examples of modded punto's you can, on here, google, other punto sites, and look at what most people do...............then do something completely different.

The best looking punto's are the most unique ones that employ the most quirky mods. So get thinking (y)

Black rear and side windows.
I'm not so sure about de-stripping unless you want to avoid car parks for the life of the car.
Intake kit adds next to no power without engine/ECU mods so why put up with the noise. Ditto noisy exhaust cans.

True mate,
Tbh i love the noise of induction kits thats why i got one, its not too loud and you dont have to have a plant pot at back of your car for noise.

Also debage your boot they just pull off do the PUNTO and FIAT badges

Lights are up to you mate tint the standard ones if you want its personal choice really, just make sure you have black lights on a black punto looks good.

BTW i just clocked 108mph in my punto 1.2l 8v on a flat surface dual carriage way, and that was with k&n punto like mine comes out of the factory to do 96mph

No worries his speedo over-reads +10% so its not really going any faster than standard.

What???

why would it over read 10%??

Im not liein i just got 108mph this morning why would i lie about it?

BTW with standard i only ever got 100mph on the same dual carriageway that i live near

how do u colour code wing mirrors ?

take off the wing mirrors from car,
mask the mirror so it doesnt get painted,
sand the plastic until smooth with wet and dry medium grit,
spray 3 coats of grey plastic primer,
when dry gently sand with wet and dry fine grit to get back smooth,
3 coats of colour coded paint,
3 coats of laquer for shine and extra protection
