Car looks stunning in the top pic Matt... but does it need dropping another 5mm or so at the back? or do you use your boot and back seats?

cheers.
others would probably say it needs more at the back, but on a level suface the arch gap is the same back and front. add to that the fact that yes - i need both seats and boot sometimes, and you can see why no lower (y)

sorry for going off topic

I fooking love your cars stance.(y)

i will deffo go lower at the fron than the back if i ever lower my baby:p

105mm at the rear? do you still have any travel? i have found that at 50mm if i hit a medium bump it bottoms out

i'd be guessing it's wound down for a show? surely it can't move like that!!

awesome lookin cars btw guys :)

It stays like that all the time mate. I do drive it very nicely though, :)

The ride is hard and there is very little movement but it doesn't bottom out. With the coilovers being custom made is designed to run with a big drop. People can sometimes bottom out on 50mm springs over rough ground or while carrying passengers because the dampers are standard and not designed for the drop.

no, Dan is super-hardcore, he actually drives the car like that ;) he has the luxury of not needing it for anything other than shows though, and apparently speed-bumps and pot-holes just dont happen - takes him 3 times longer to get anywhere compared to normal cars :D

no you cannot get coilovers that go that low as standard. You need to take the springs to a place that will re-wind them, which is what dan did.

IIRC the FK coilovers go down to 90-odd mm front 50-odd mm rear, as standard.

EDIT: he got there before me :bang:
