I disagree Joske. Did exactly the same job on Brav1 (80SX)

Ok besides Brav1 :)

Just saying on the later models, a cassette sized relay is now fitted there. Unless its only higher specs that have it.

If thats the case then ignore my previous comment.

However the access panel on the MK2s is not there as can be seen, its glovebox out job.

What do I need to buy to convert my CL to RCL on my 2001 80sx? How much is it likely to cost?

Thanks

Chris

no longer available. I rang up a dealer to find out the part number and he even told me which dealers were showing stock... rang them all.. none had them in and they would want £150 if they did cos it's a rare part!!

Also the MK2 bravo's adoppted the alarm locking route and this relay idea was dropped... althought the mk2 punto's used it still.

it's a M/20 relay you need... go round the scrappy's and see if they have a mk1 bravo/brava/ marea with keys :)

Cheers Tommy, why would I need a MK1 key though? Would the M/20 have to come from a MK1?

Chris

you don't need the keys... you need the round remote disc that will be on the keyring with the keys...

the reason why i say you want a scrappy that has the keys as most don't get the keys with the cars, thus wont have the remote thing.

:)
