Several people have expressed a desire to get together in or around Nottingham, in July. This is a busy month for many of us: so I've posted a few options; and will see what happens.... :eek:

Poll closes on Saturday, 29 June 2013 -- and you can select more than one option. :cool:

Please also feel free to add your suggestions...

  1. for an initial meeting point;
  2. for somewhere to grab a bite; and
  3. for somewhere (not too far away, please) to convoy to, and take photographs.

I'd like to come to this, but can only make Sun 14th or the weekend of 27/28th in July (which isn't an option). Sunday 21st is the Uxbridge show which I've done for at least 10 years - others are welcome to this if it's not the chosen date for this meet. (y)

P.S. I meant to also click prefer August but I can't see how to amend the choices..... :doh:

There are plenty of nice plases to take photos in the sharewood/mansfield area.... Rufford park, the dukeries, sharewood forest, thoresby park.... and obviously there is some great places to eat the rose cottage robbin hood pub (with a very large car park).... MaccyD's ;P...... and there is the amen corner go cart course if we are gonna make a day of it why not try booking a day there too.

i think matlock is better the area i picked for photoshoot is the nicest you gonna get;):cool:
and mcdolands.....i live off that crap like its a daily routine:rolleyes:only kidding!
 
I Read through the original thread for this meet. I am free nearly every Sunday all day and Saturday after around 12 unless I don't do the overtime at work ;) but I think I definitely want to come. I'm only in Leicester so not to far away really

I've never been to a meet before so I wanna meet some of you before Hardwick Hall lol. My gp is only a 1.2 so don't leave me behind ;)
