Following on from here here are the results of my front brake conversion:

These were punto 1.9 JTD calipers, with EBC groved vented discs, and EBC green stuff pads.

They are the more recent ATE calipers with the spring.


I will type up a guide at some point, but it really wasn't too hard.

I hamerite'd the calipers poorly as i was rushing and fitted them without setting, and as i did it off the car, i painted the runners (doh!) but they still look great.

now its just the boring period of bedding them in and I can give a proper analysis :D

Those axel stands are OLD lol, were my grand fathers, over 20 years old, and could do with a bit of rust treatment.....nice and small for our small cars though. Many are WAy to large unless you want to drop the engine out underneath lol

Same callipers as mine, in the saem colour! Looks good tho - are your callipers pretty cosy to the rim too:p ?
