60 plate 9 months old had 20 odd miles when i picked her up on saturday last week been busy and the weather has been poor so not got round to it till tonight.........
noticed when i was washing it it was COVERED in fall out and been white/ gray / silver it stood out a mile when i first got it home....
to give you an idea what the roof was like anyhow got some Iron x
(be warned the stuff STINKS and burns skin so decent long gloves covering the forearms and eye protection is a wise idea)
so the boring bits the car was foamed with a mix of BH foam and surfex to rip all the muck off and the dealerships "lovely" trim dressing/ gunge then hand washed with 2BM with BH autowash then rinsed and blotted almost dry then I applied Iron-X via trigger sprayer doing a panel at a time
sprayed it on left it to do its thing then rubbed it over with a cheap MF washmit (wearing gloves)
then PWed off, the roof and bonnet were badly contaminated need three doeses before no more reaction happened ( the iron-x turns red/ purple in contact with iron deposits)
after that it was a quick wash again and rinse then straight into the garage without drying and a clay bar session with BH soft
the car was very clean despite been 9 months old and sat in a compound...
(that bit did the whole car!)
quick re wash and no need to dry,.,,,,
the car is in very good condition and there are a few bits i would like to machine but no time tonight so onto the LSP
I used BH Autobalm (i like it a lot)
applied to the still wet panels one at a time and buffed off
so did a panel at a time and buffed off regularly getting a clean MF out the box....
managed to get a bloody good shine and clear reflections...
sealed the glass with AG lifeshine after cleaning it first with their glass polish
windscreen done with my last drop of Lidl W5 windscreen sealant
tyres dressed with AG tyre shine
need to do the black trim yet with Black wow but i begun to run out of day light
so as it stands now.......
thanks for looking
