Well I've got my seal from Mangoletsi and had a look at fitting it this evening.

Does the seal fit over the black liner panel or underneath it? It seems to fit better over it in some places and under it in others. There wasn't a seal on my car when I got it, so I've got nothing to work from.

I didn't have a seal on my car either when I bought it. Luckily, as the car would have smelled of fish :D

I think it goes over the top of the back wall. Attached is a guide I made when I did mine a couple of months ago.

Given the sloshing about that I could hear this morning, I need a new one too.

How much did Mango's charge you, out of interest?

They are my local garage (well, about 4 miles from where I work) so whilst their reputation isn't fantastic, they are at least handy! (And their new showroom is very smart, despite the absence of many / any fiats in there whenever I go; its all Alfas)

Bad form replying to my own post, but I've just ordered the seal from Mangoletsi and they are charging £131! Eeek!!

But if it stops the water, its worth it to me!

I do hope that you'd tried cleaning out the water gullies located just behind each door first ,I did mine last year and a little duck tape around any worn torn bits and it's now dry as a bone yard down there. Much cheaper than £115.

There's a lot to be said for a £1.99 airbed puncture repair kit. I've patched up my leaky seal about 3 times over the last couple of years and there's still about 10 'goes' left before I need to shell out on a second kit :)

I will give that a try too, but to be honest the seal is completely shot to pieces anyway and does need replacing even if there is some additional patching to be done too.

Next stop the hood itself (£600?) and then some inner-tube and foam to make my own "patch" to sort out the hood side rubbers (I'm not paying £90 each for those!)
