I have had these on for a couple of year and today decided to take them off.
They have been trapping wet mud stones and grit where they meet the body.
They have also worn through the paint through to the metal, with all that wet mud its only going to end up one way.

All I can say is if you are thinking about fitting them don't as they will damage your car.

Only for the rear.

It's a common problem with many mudflaps, the only real cure is either not fit them as said, or use an adhesive (sika or tigerseal) to bond the mudflap to the side of the car, so it doesn't fret the paintwork and damage it. But then you can't easily remove the mudflap if you want to!
