I have a 1.2 500 Lounge and the other day, saw that the outer layer of the back box has gone rusty and is falling off. Nice man at garage said it is ok at the moment but keep an eye on it (n)

Now thinking that may change it for a stainless steel exhaust to safeguard me from future rust issues

No idea where to start looking, I found this on the internet - anyone know anything about this one?

I'm in Kent (Maidstone), so if anyone knows of where is good to get this done - I'd appreciate any advice :)

Why is a system made from bits on a car better than a jig made system?
Answer, it isn't

Thanks all, I will have a look into these :)

Also, thanks for the heads-up re Nuova!

If you are after just a back box I sell them here
http://cartel-parts.com/collections/frontpage/products/stainless-steel-fiat-500-exhaust-back-box

It is e stamped and sounds almost standard, just a bit deeper.

I noticed on the other sections of the FF that some suppliers of the back boxs are giving a letter stating that there's no performance increase with their replacements - this letter can be given to their insurance company. It's got a little crazy that you would have to do this with such a small change.

I had a bunch of these made which will be heads and shoulder above anything else I have seen on the market.

I have a reputation for making fine exhausts as a hobby, mostly for MGTFs.

These are made from 304 grade stainless steel throughout. Mendrill bent bends, mirror polished and the same shape as the OEM system but straight-through. Which means a great sound. Also the deadening material was the top spec so it won't all blow out in a couple of months.

They were built to be the best out there for the 1.2 and 1.4 FIAT 500s.

PM me if you want to know more
